Technology Consultant
The architect role is one of the most important roles within Professional Services.
Technical Architects are typically viewed as leaders within Steeves and their respective teams.
As such, they are usually involved in multiple projects and accounts and are held accountable
for maintaining a high degree of information coordination regarding the projects with Professional
Services and Sales.
Technical Architects are expected to contribute significantly to the sales process (including pre-sales)
and must be highly knowledgeable on the strategies as they relate to their area(s) of expertise.
They should be detail-oriented and be able to effectively prioritize their own and the team's efforts,
following-up to ensure all aspects of the engagement are addressed, and escalating issues appropriately.
Technical Architects must possess above average consulting skills.
Candidate
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree or equivalent work experience combined with
a minimum of 7 years relevant working experience in systems development and consulting.
It would be considered beneficial for Technical Architect to carry a current MCP Certification
as a Systems Engineer.
Understanding of core Microsoft technologies and Strategies with proven hands-on project experience
with at least 3 of the following:
- Active Directory
- Exchange 2007
- System Center Configuration Manager 2007
- System Center Operations Manager 2007
- Office Communications Server 2007
- System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2007
